Fairfield Equine Associates - Sport Medicine & Diagnostic Imaging Fellowship Background: The goal of the Fairfield Equine fellowship program is to provide comprehensive training for recent graduates committed to a career in Sports Medicine.  The one-year fellowship provides unparalleled learning experience in a clinical and ambulatory setting working under the direct supervision of board-certified Sports Medicine specialist, Dr. Richard Mitchell. Dr. Richard Mitchell is a founding partner of Fairfield Equine Associates and has been in practice for over 40 years.
