The Chittenango Animal Hospital is currently looking for a full time veterinarian to join our team. An ideal candidate is someone who wants to work in a high-quality independent general practice located in Central New York. New graduates are encouraged to apply and start their careers here. All candidates must have a valid NYS veterinary license.
Our team of LVTs, support staff, and DVMs are dedicated to providing loving, knowledgeable and low-stress care. With over 80 years of combined experience, our veterinary team offers great mentoring and collaboration. New hires can expect to be mentored, but also have autonomy to make diagnoses and treatment decisions. Services offered at our practice include: whole life wellness and preventative medicine, in-house laboratory, therapy laser, soft tissue surgery, digital radiography, ultrasound, and dentistry.
In addition to a fantastic team and facility, we value work-life balance and offer competitive benefits. Our veterinarians work 4 week days and alternate half day Saturdays. We are closed overnight and on Sundays. Several referral/specialty hospitals are located in our region to provide support and advanced care for our patients.
The Chittenango Animal Hospital is an independent small animal general practice located in Chittenango, NY. We have been providing primary care to our patients from a stand alone 7000 sq ft location for over 70 years. We currently have 4 Veterinarians, 7 LVTs and 15 additional support staff to help over 12,000 clients and their pets. Chittenango is located 15 miles east of Syracuse, NY.
