Come join us at Dunkirk Animal Hospital, a busy small animal exclusive clinic in Southern Maryland where we enjoy a professional but relaxed environment. Established in 1996, we are committed to excellent client and patient care through the practice of comprehensive veterinary medicine.

We currently have six full time veterinarians and 1 part time veterinarian. We are seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our team. Duties include medical appointments, managing hospitalized patients, dental procedures and surgery. We are open 7 days a week.   Veterinarians do not have after hours emergency duty. The clinic is closed for the major holidays.

Additional compensation beyond salary includes state and federal licensing fees, AVMA professional dues, and liability coverage. After one year of employment, a veterinarian has the opportunity to participate in an employer sponsored retirement program (matching).

Dunkirk Animal Hospital is well equipped with IDEXX in house diagnostic suite (ProCyte DX, Catalyst DX, VetLab Station), digital radiography, Cornerstone practice management system, IDEXX telemedicine, tonometry, radiosurgery unit, ultrasound, high speed dental unit, Cardell patient monitoring and more. We are in close proximity to multiple referral facilities.

We are approximately 45 minutes south of Annapolis, Maryland and 40 minutes east of Washington, D.C. in Dunkirk, Maryland.
