Best Friends Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our progressive practice. We are currently a two doctor veterinary practice that offers preventative and surgical care to small animals and pocket pets. We offer wellness exams, vaccines, dental cleanings, soft tissue surgeries, elective surgeries (on pocket pets too!) diagnostic sick patient exams, in house or referral bloodwork, digital full body and dental x-ray, ultrasound and laser therapy. We are currently pursuing AI options for more advanced veterinary care.
We are located in Chambersburg, PA, a modern city with a small-town feel. Best Friends has been firmly rooted in the local community since 1990. Best Friends has a large building with a beautiful view of farmland from the oversized windows in the lobby. Equipped with 5 exam rooms there is plenty of space for each doctor to run exams. Several exam rooms have lift tables for ease of patient lifting and the fifth exam room is equipped with home comforts for laser therapy and end of life appointments. There is a fully stocked surgical suite and treatment area available for your use.
As an associate veterinarian at Best Friends Animal Hospital we will partner with you to accommodate your flexible schedule needs. We work closely with a local emergency clinic to refer support after-hours. DVM or equivalent from an accredited university
DEA license (can be acquired upon hire at the expense of the practice)
