About Us
We believe in serving the community and using our skills, knowledge, and experience to improve the lives of all that we encounter.
Our generously sized, privately owned practice is well-equipped with AviMark, Idexx in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and a therapy laser. Our patients consist of dogs and cats with some pocket pets/ small animals and our clients are a cross section of Charlotte's diverse community.
What does a day look like at Friendship?
At Friendship, we start welcoming clients and admitting their pets to the hospital at 7:30 am Monday-Friday, and appointments with veterinarians begin at 9:00 am. We value the prevention of disease and keeping care affordable by offering well-pet care plans. Scribes help keep records caught up and the doctors can focus more on... being doctors.
On surgery days we typically perform 3-5 surgeries. We enjoy soft-tissue surgery! C-sections, gastropexy, splenectomy, laparotomy, whatever- we love them all! When we have orthopedics, we have a boarded traveling surgeon come in. We also have a traveling service provide ultrasounds for our patients (if you have an interest in ultrasound- let's talk!).
Relax in the team breakroom for lunch- we have a full kitchen and a sofa. We break from 12-2 every day. Or take a walk at lunch either on the nearby greenway or quaint downtown Pineville!
Our work day ends at 6:00 pm and we are usually out on time! We are open one Saturday a month for the pet owners that cannot make weekday appointment times.
