We are located in Lincoln, NE, which is home to the University of Nebraska and the Cornhuskers. On any given football Saturday, our stadium turns into a city of over 80,000. Our walking/running/biking trail system is one of the best around. The nightlife and restaurants in the Hay Market and Railyard areas, in Downtown Lincoln, offer a variety of entertainment and dining.
A-4 Animal Hospital is looking to add a veterinarian who is dedicated and committed to practicing the highest standards of patient care and client education. The ideal candidate is searching for both growth and challenge, who is motivated and enthusiastic. Experience is a plus, although newly graduated veterinarians seeking quality mentorship are more than welcome to apply!
Our compensation and benefit plans are generous, competitive, and commensurate with experience, including:
Signing bonus and relocation assistance
Four-day workweek with rotating Saturdays (every 3rd)
Medical, dental, and vision insurance with shared premiums
Practice-sponsored life insurance
401(k) eligibility with employer match

Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
