LONG ISLAND BIRD & EXOTICS VETERINARY CLINIC (LIBEVC) is a premier full-service avian and exotic hospital based in Great Neck, NY. Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic veterinarian interns and residents to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and practice high-quality medicine and surgery at an avian and exotic pet specialty hospital with excellent mentorship. We offer  advanced diagnostics including endoscopy, CT scan, a  fully equipped surgical suite, and in-house blood work for our exotics. A rotating small animal internship is recommended however all levels of experience will be considered. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily clinical appointments
• Provide inpatient care
• Perform clinical/surgical procedures
• Consult on walk-in emergency cases
• Contribute to the success of the practice's emergency service and highest standard of care
