We maximize the skills and capabilities of Veterinary Technicians/Veterinary Assistants to provide affordable feline care. This will allow for LVT’s and/or VA's to utilize their expertise and overall quality patient care. We believe strongly in continuing education and providing our team members with opportunities to increase their skills and knowledge.
Our licensed veterinary technicians/veterinary assistants will be the primary care provider working as a team with a highly qualified feline focused veterinarians utilizing fear free protocols to provide high-quality care. Our philosophy includes providing needed community services such as affordable spay/neuter and TNR.
We are looking for highly knowledgeable LVTs and/or VA's that share our educational focus and can educate our clients about their feline family members during our typical 45-minute appointments.
At Community Cat Clinic, we want to increase access to care for all cat owners with affordable prices, incremental care, and a variety of payment options.
Unlicensed, highly experienced veterinary assistants are welcome to submit resumes as well, however position responsibilities and compensation may differ.
Our compensation package is one of the best in the industry and for the right team member it includes:
4 10-hour workdays, only working every other Saturday and no Sundays.
Every team member participates in our profit-sharing program.
100% paid health insurance for the team member

Paid time off includes: Two weeks annual PTO and 6 paid holidays.
The clinic is closed for a week at the end of year; this is additional paid time off.
Reimbursement for LVT licensing costs (For LVT's), Tuition assistance for VA's looking to pursue their credentials. Fear Free Training Costs, and memberships in approved associations.
Continuing education costs reimbursed allowance annually, plus two paid days of CE (LVT's).
The Community Cat Clinic Duluth location is a new, state-of-the-art feline-only clinic that opened June 2024. We have the best available brand-new equipment including the Heska Cuattro digital radiographic, in-house lab, Midmark digital dental radiograph, and nitrogen-driven dental equipment. We are willing to add additional equipment based on the interest and desires of our veterinary team.
