Be a part of a group of privately owned practices in beautiful East Tennessee. We're seeking an associate Veterinarian to help build and shape our clinic in Dunlap, TN. Located in a small town within the mountains and valleys with amazing views and just a 30 min drive from downtown Chattanooga.  Although it’s known for its hang gliding, it is also in close proximity to many hiking trails, rock climbing spots, and other outdoor activities.  Just over the mountain to the east, is the Tennessee River with a host things to do. Also Knoxville, Nashville, and Atlanta are all within a 2-2.5 hour drive. 

This practice is currently closed and is waiting on the right associate with experience and an entrepreneur spirit or at the very least the confidence to make it their own.  With two very busy sister clinics just 20 minutes away, there is plenty of support and flexibility.  If interested in ownership this is the perfect spot to mold the practice into what you want, while at the same time have support of partners for mentorship, guidance, financial support, and staffing assistance.  This is a very unique opportunity to enter ownership with little to no financial risk or commitment in a non-corporate environment.  The clinic can support either small animal only or mixed animal if the Veterinarian is inclined.

South Rhea Animal Hospital is a growing rural small animal focused clinic located in Dayton, TN which is about 30-40 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, TN. We are associated with TWO other small animal clinics one in Dunlap, TN and the other in Soddy Daisy,TN. Also associated with an a Mixed Animal Ambulatory Service. We offer digital radiography, ultrasound, full in house blood work capabilities (including thyroid and cortisol), dental radiography, surgical suite, grooming, and boarding in house and boarding off site at a premium boarding facility. Our hours are from 7am-6pm M-F and 8am-12pm Saturdays. We are closed on all major Holidays and every Sunday.
