Huntingdon Animal Clinic is currently a 4 doctor private practice established in 1949. We are a very busy mixed animal practice (70% small animal, 30% large animal) in rural West TN about 30 miles northeast of Jackson, TN. Our services include general medicine, preventive care, general surgery, dentistry, and boarding to name a few. We offer in-house diagnostics with IDEXX equipment and use the DVM manager computer platform.
Our office hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, 8am-12pm Saturday, and closed Sunday. Selected candidate will have one day off each week, one night on call each week, and on call once a month (Fri/Sat/Sun). Our ideal candidate will be comfortable treating both large and small animals and be able to multi-task. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and a bonus will be given monthly based on emergency visits seen that month. Health insurance will be provided (currently BCBS or stipend if you elect to stay on current insurance plan). Clinic will pay for two professional organization fees annually and provide compensation for up to 20 hours of CE each year.
