Medical Director and Associate-Practice in the Beauty of Maine's Forests and Atlantic Coast.
Join us and practice small animal medicine in this beautiful and historic community. By the 1850s, Bangor, thirty miles from the Atlantic, was considered the lumber capital of the world, was one of the busiest ports on the East Coast and was heavily engaged in shipbuilding and commerce. Evidence of this is still visible in the lumbers baron's elaborate Greek Revival and Victorian mansions. Bangor is the third most populous city in Maine, as it has been for more than a century, the estimated population of the Bangor Metropolitan Area (which includes Penobscot County) is 153,746.
