The Unit for Laboratory Animal Medicine (ULAM) at the University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS) is excited to announce an immediate opening to join our residency training program in laboratory animal medicine. The program emphasizes the clinical, pathological, managerial, and administrative aspects of laboratory animal medicine.  The program includes a strong component of research training in comparative medicine, the study of phenomena basic to the disease of all species.  The training program is recognized by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM)and successful completion satisfies eligibility requirements for specialty board certification.
