Is it time to advance your career? Do you have a passion for mentoring? Our Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) - Kenosha would like to add an experienced Emergency Veterinarian with a strong interest in supporting and leading our internal and external medical educational opportunities.
Core duties: - Leads our on-site ER Immerse Training Program - Functions as a primary mentor - Creates, implements and maintains hospital-based core curriculum - Attends annual Mentor Bootcamp Summit for ongoing continuing education & training - Partners with our Clinical Learning & Innovation team - Assists in identifying and securing any/all potential resources and tools for mentee training
In Addition: - Provides clinical leadership by example, ensuring high-quality medicine - Ensures a team-oriented approach to patient care - Assists in the recruitment of high-quality Veterinarians - Fosters positive relationships with referring Veterinarians - Provides medical input into hospital development, marketing and equipment selection
Qualifications: - Experience mentoring and teaching junior Veterinarians - Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience - DVM or equivalent degree - Licensed to practice in Wisconsin
Compensation: - Competitive base salary based on experience; Min $140,000.00 - (Base +) 25% Production - Annual $30,000.00 Senior stipend - $25,000.00 signing bonus
