Buffalo Niagara Region
Situated on the shores of Lake Erie, minutes from Niagara Falls and a quick two-hour drive to Toronto, Buffalo is deep into a physical and cultural renaissance. With four distinct seasons that include the most beautiful fall you’ll ever see (don’t worry about winter, Buffalo is a pro with the white stuff). Buffalo’s waterfront is situated minutes from our office and is packed with fun things to do (have you ever climbed a grain elevator?)
Housing is extremely affordable in Buffalo and buying a home is within reach—unlike most markets. Housing stock within the city oozes character and you’ll find affordable homes in every neighborhood. Buffalo is also a foodie city far beyond chicken wings and has more microbreweries than a dog has fleas—add to that—two major sports teams (get used to saying Go Bills!), there’s always something happening no matter what the season (have you ever ridden an ice bike?).
Buffalo is also culturally diverse with festivals to match, so you’ll never run out of things to do. We have a large park system designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted (think Central Park), architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Sullivan and EB Green. Buffalo also boasts the country’s largest garden walk, a major modern art gallery, so important that Architectural Digest voted Buffalo as one of the top 22 places to visit in the world in 2022. Yes, we said the world. If all this sounds unexpectedly great, that’s because that’s exactly what Buffalo is.
