Elk Park Animal Hospital - Eastern and Western Medicine for Mixed Animal is hiring a DVM! We offer compassionate care utilizing traditional, Western, and Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, for companion pets, livestock, horses, alpacas, and exotic wildlife such as elk.

Elk Park Animal Hospital, a longstanding community fixture, is one of the largest and busiest facilities in the area. With over 3,700 sq. ft. of organized indoor space featuring three exam rooms, we offer essential services five days a week, including on-call and mobile assistance for large animals and emergencies. Our comprehensive services encompass digital radiology, cold laser therapy, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, cutting-edge diagnostics, and a complete pharmacy. We also provide Chinese medicine, acupuncture, physical therapy, and herbal medicine.

The Team:

Our talking bird warmly greets patients with hilarious comments in our lobby, setting a cheerful tone. Our dedicated team of two techs per doctor provides remarkable support. Dr. Thompson has established a trusted foundation in high-quality holistic medicine, seamlessly integrating Eastern Chinese medicine with traditional Western medicine. A frequent lecturer at the Chi Institute of Traditional Veterinary Medicine in Florida, he would like to pass on his knowledge and mentor any veterinarian who is interested in learning more about these modalities.

The compensation package:

• Base salary $80-140k+ DOE
