Conveniently located in luxurious Fairfield County on the Gold Coast of Connecticut, we are 60 miles from New York City, 20 miles from New Haven and Yale University, and approximately 2 hours from Boston. Our general practice schedule will give you plenty of time each week to explore the beaches, hiking, biking, music, art and experience all the seasons of Southern New England.

Skills & Qualifications:
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of CT
Professional comportment & appearance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive, friendly attitude
The ability to make decisions and communicate effectively and clearly with fellow team members
Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
Job Requirements:
Deliver the highest quality medical care while minimizing patient stress. Perform physical examinations, diagnostic, medical and routine surgical procedures. Recommend and refer to another doctor or specialist when this is likely to improve the prognosis.
Explain physical exam findings and communicate to pet owners, generate and present treatment plans, provide client education.
Maintain medical, surgical and controlled drug records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up to date by following established protocols.
Assist colleagues in follow-up and future case management of patients.
Stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine. Fulfill requirements for continuing education (30 hours of accredited CE per year) by attending local CE meetings
Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
Positively represent our hospital in the professional community and to the general public.
