Facilities: We have an approximately 10,000 square foot state of the art facility. We use IDEXX Cornerstone for our PIMS and IDEXX in-house analyzers.
Other Personnel: We have 4 companion animal veterinarians, 5 technicians, 6 assistants, 5 companion animal front desk team members, 8 production veterinarians, 5 production animal front desk team members, 1 financial officer, and 1 practice manager.
Practice Strengths: Our practice is locally owned and operated by 8 veterinarian/owners. Since we are a partnership, there is an opportunity to become a partner in the business in the future! We are a 12-doctor mixed animal practice located in Sandusky, Michigan. We are the only AAHA accredited hospital in three counties and have been practicing high quality medicine in the greater thumb region for over 60 years. Our practice has seen considerable growth in the past few years leading to the construction of a new state of the art building in 2014 and recent consideration of expansion. We have a thriving practice divided into companion (canine, feline, and equine) and production (bovine, caprine/ovine, and porcine) animal specialties. We have a great culture which is evident by our lower than average turnover rate both nationwide and in Michigan!
Practice Area: Our practice is in a beautiful rural portion of Michigan and is close to Lake Huron. Our area has lots of outdoor activities (fishing, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, boating, etc.) as well a safe, hometown environment for raising a family. We are still close to the city, if you are looking for night life, with Bay City and Saginaw roughly an hour away, while Lansing and Detroit are approximately 2 hours away.
