We are looking for a small animal associate to join Southeast Missouri's best veterinary team! Hillcrest Animal Hospital is a large practice that has a long legacy of providing high quality medicine and surgery to a large region since the early 60's - currently our team is looking for a doctor to staff our satellite clinic and that is why we need YOU to hop onboard! The clinic is purely small animal. We have an amazing team of support staff who are well trained and fully utilized. The hospital is equipped with the latest Idexx in house diagnostic equipment such as CBC, multiple chemistry analyzers, urinalysis machine, and low radiation digital radiography. 

We offer extremely competitive benefit packages including paid time off, retirement planning with employer match, health insurance, conference reimbursement and a sign on bonus. 

Hillcrest Animal Wellness is a practice with no weekends, no long hours, no hospitalizations, and minimal surgery. Schedule Monday-Friday 9am to 4pm with a strictly scheduled lunch break and a team who strives to get everyone to lunch and home on time. 

No after-hours on call

Critical patients requiring surgery or hospitalization can be transferred to our location in Poplar Bluff and their care will be taken over by one of the doctors at that hospital. The doctors at this hospital are also available for consult on cases if need be. 

Hillcrest Animal Wellness is located in Doniphan, MO which is your typical small town and it's great! The community was without a veterinarian for a long time and the clients are so appreciative of our presence here. Doniphan is experiencing growth and is a great place to have an active family! There are endless outdoor activity opportunities in the surrounding area from hiking and biking to kayaking and boating! There are also so many community organizations that your calendar can be as full or empty as you want it to be!

The large animal aspect of this hospital is newer and growing but this small animal practice has been well established for many years. We offer our clients: in house lab equipment, digital radiology, ultrasound, as well as, surgical and therapeutic lasers.
