We are a privately owned, small animal hospital in need of an associate veterinarian. Mapleview Animal Hospital is celebrating over 50 years in the Norwalk, Ohio community. We are a female lead, family friendly practice focused on high quality medicine. We have a long term staff dedicated to providing compassionate care. Our goal is to strengthen the bond between people and pets in our community through medicine, education and compassion. Utilize our in-house laboratory, digital radiography and new dental suite with digital dental radiography to provide the best care for our patients. We are looking for a part-time associate veterinarian with good communication skills and a positive attitude to add to our team. A willingness to do surgery and dental procedures is a plus. Diagnostic and case management skills are required. Norwalk Ohio is a small town in Northeast Ohio between Cleveland and Toledo. Outpatient appointments, follow-up care, client education, complete medical records.
Hospitalized patient management, develop treatment plans, communicate with clients and support staff regarding patient treatment and progress.
Perform surgical procedures and dental extractions, maintain complete and accurate medical records and communicate with clients.
Emergency and critical care during regular business hours.
Other responsibilities include maintaining ethical, moral and professional standards, maintaining a professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times and attending and participating in required monthly meetings.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Ohio is required.
