Seeking a talented, compassionate FT Veterinarian to join our team at the Manetto Hill Animal Hospital in Plainview, NY (Long Island) (Motivated New Grads will be considered)

Who are we looking for?

Applicants must be licensed to practice in New York. Have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment, provide a calm demeanor and have a passion for what they do!

Schedule:

Schedule is based on a 40-hour work week. You would work an 8-hour shift (4) weekdays and Saturday from 8am-1pm.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• New York State Veterinary Board License
• Excellent Client Communication Skills- discussing vaccination protocols, lab tests, common diseases, pet behavior, and exam findings with the owner in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Examination of patients and importing fully detailed medical condition forms into the practice management software system (AVImark)
• Surgical Skills- Spay/Neuter, Dentals, Growth Removals (Will train right candidate)
• Leading the team in a fast-paced controlled manner
