Your day to day will focus on wellness care and the medical and surgical management of routine cases. In addition, we strive to accommodate and care for sick patients that need our help. This allows for a comfortable variety of cases in any given day that provides great experience without feeling overburdened. You will be a proactive member of a collaborative team of Veterinarians dedicated to providing excellent patient care and client service. Bel Air is a thriving suburban community located convenient to I-95 just 30 minutes from downtown Baltimore. We are also close to the mountains of both Maryland and Pennsylvania, as well as just a short drive to the beaches of Maryland and Delaware! The area offers many of the amenities of city life alongside the beauty and outdoor activities of more rural living. There are phenomenal hiking trails, camping locations, numerous parks and recreation centers, as well as great local shopping and dining options!
Qualifications
Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program, have a License to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland, and DEA license. This position is open to recent graduates and experienced Veterinarians. We have extensive experience in mentoring less experienced doctors that allows for a gradual introduction into daily practice life.
