Bartonville Veterinary Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to join our growing practice. Bartonville Veterinary Center offers a wide range of veterinary services, including wellness exams, surgery, diagnostics, and dental care, and we take pride in delivering exceptional patient care. In this leadership role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the practice owner, managing the daily operations of our clinic, ensuring staff support, client satisfaction, and overall clinic efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the clinic, including staff management, scheduling, inventory control and reputation management. 
• Work closely with the practice owner to implement and improve clinic policies and procedures to enhance overall efficiency, productivity and profitability.
• Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.
• Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control as assigned by the practice owner. 
• Ensure compliance with all veterinary regulations and standards, including OSHA, DEA, Cat Friendly and AAHA guidelines.
• Help implement and improve clinic policies and procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
• Assist in staff recruitment, training, and development to maintain a competent and motivated team.
• Take a lead role in community engagement, networking, and marketing strategy development to expand the clinic's presence and attract new clients.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business management or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in veterinary practice management or a related role is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in computer skills and a strong command of office suite software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine and a passion for animal welfare.
• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and online advertising.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
• Proficiency with practice management software (Cornerstone)
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy.
• Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
