Vergennes Animal Hospital is in search of the right full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our experienced 5 doctor team.
Vergennes Animal Hospital is a well-established practice with 80 years of service to the surrounding community, providing exceptional care in general medicine, surgery, dentistry, ultrasound and acupuncture. We are a privately owned practice that strives to create a welcoming and positive culture with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration where we can work together to provide exceptional care to our patients and clients. We employ a team of talented and experienced technicians and support staff to help our doctors provide a high level of service to patients from a wide variety of surrounding communities. Our loyal clientele appreciates not only our quality of medicine but the compassion and dedication we extend to our patients. Our recently expanded facility includes an in-house laboratory, digital radiographs, and a dedicated dental suite with digital dental radiographs. The position offers a 4 or 5 day work week, depending on the applicant's desired schedule and caseload. We are committed to maintaining a healthy work life balance for our team members, allowing them to appreciate all of the cultural and recreational opportunities that beautiful Vermont provides. Our current hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no after hours on-call or emergency shifts. We work with multiple referral and emergency hospitals in the area to provide advanced care as needed for our patients.
