We are a private practice and offer more flexibility of scheduling and more learning, teaching, and fun.
Our clients want to learn how to take a balanced approach to helping their fur babies. We have clients that brush their cat's and dogs' teeth and want wellness labwork for their fur babies. They want to know the best way to care for their fur babies and be part of the comprehensive plan on how to keep them well and help them when they are sick. We have very good compliance and buy in from pet parents.
Our hospital offers Idexx in-house laboratory equipment, digital radiography, Ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, IM3 dental machine, Cold Light Laser, Doppler BP, Surgivet Anesthesia Monitoring machine, using Cornerstone PMS.
No after-hours emergencies or on-call hours!! No weekends!! Part time or full time considered. We are currently open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and doctors work from 8am to 5:30pm. On the rare instances that Dr Goetz is off, there is relief vet support to prevent over scheduling.
30-50 minute appointment blocks to allow time to tailor each appointment specific to the needs of the pet parent and fur baby without feeling rushed out the door.
Flexible hours and shifts available.
We have 4 spacious examination rooms with a comfort or consultation room. One exam room has a lift table. We have soft towels on exam tables, calming music in rooms, treats, catnip, bandanas, and dog and cat toys. We have a doctor's office next to the surgery suite and spacious treatment area which has 4 exam tables including 2 wet tables. The surgery suite has a heated electric surgery table, central oxygen (also in x-ray and wards), 2 IV Heska fluid pumps with an IV fluid warmer, Surgivet monitoring machine. We have sound proofing in the exam rooms, isolation ward, canine and feline wards and the small kennel/laundry. Our Vet Nurses take dental x-rays, perform Oral Assessments, Treatments, and Preventatives, draw blood, place IV catheters, monitor anesthesia, and educate pet parents. We have weekly meetings with a focus on learning. Our team wants to help the doctors and the patience and want to support the hospital and the vision of the hospital.

Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a valid North Carolina license to practice veterinary medicine are required
Provide thorough physical exams of all body systems, on all fur babies examined
Be able to communicate with all different types of pet parents, learn, teach, and have fun!!
Enter all medical notes and records into Practice Management Software (Cornerstone) in a timely manner
Prescribe medications, treatments and appropriate follow up care
Must have the desire to provide the best possible behavioral, medical, surgical and dental care for all patients and to work with an excellent amazing super team.

Animal Hospital at Brier Creek is a one doctor practice that opened in 2007. We believe pets are family. We spend extra time educating our pet parents and our team members. We treat our patients as we would our own fur babies. We are fortunate to have many excellent pet parents that come to see us that want to take care of their fur babies as best as possible. Preventative care is a cornerstone of our practice. From Twice Yearly For Life 6 month exams to wellness lab work, vaccinations based on exposure, to teaching pet parents how to brush their cat's or dog's teeth and how to trim nails, we advocate for each and every fur baby. Our team is one large loving, supportive family, We are a paperless practice with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, IM3 dental machine, ultrasound, and IDEXX in house lab equipment.
