ADR Urgent Veterinary Care is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic, full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our privately-owned urgent care practice. ADR Urgent Veterinary Care is a urgent care practice in Salem, VA! We are a customer-centric and supportive veterinary practice providing excellent, efficient, compassionate urgent and emergency vet care to our patients with friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service. We have a brand-new state-of-the-art 9000sqft facility to provide emergency and urgent care between the hours of 11 am -11 pm Mon-Saturday. That’s right, NO OVERNIGHT shifts and we are closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas! So, if you are a Veterinarian seeking to bridge the gap between general practice and 24-hr emergency facilities, then this position may be for you! This is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on both pets and owners in our area as we continue to build this practice! We have a full in-house lab, radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, surgical laser, vessel sealer, and 2 OR’s. We are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who take their career seriously but don’t take themselves too seriously!

Salem is nestled in the Roanoke Valley amidst the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The area offers more than 600 miles of hiking trails including hiking on the Appalachian Trail. The Roanoke Valley Greenway offers more than 30 miles of paved biking trails. Carvin's Cove offers a beautiful area to paddle board, kayak, fish, hike or go mountain biking. There are two beautiful lakes within an hour's drive. Roanoke City offers opportunities to explore an urban scene with events that celebrate the arts, including live music, performing arts, and exhibitions at local galleries.

- Critical thinking and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail to guide medical decisions
