Let’s rethink what academia can look like. Let’s personalize the position to fit your expertise, your goals, and your ambitions rather than fit you into the preformed mold of many academic positions. If you are enthusiastic about excellence in clinical teaching and clinical practice, this is the position for you! Want to deliver didactic lectures-great, but not required. Want to do discovery or clinical research-great, but not required. We will wholly support a residency program (bring them!).
Endowed Chair positions are available for qualified candidates. An infusion of funding to the College of Veterinary Medicine is enabling expansion, the purchase of new equipment, and a state-of-the-art, fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite begging for use.
The internal medicine service is supported by a team of 5primary care DVMs and support staff of skilled RVTs and nurse assistants. Review of applicants will begin upon receipt of applications and will continue until the positions are filled. Applications including letter of intent with statement of professional goals, curriculum vitae, and three names of references and contact information should be submitted at https://okstate.csod.com/ats/careersite/JobDetails.aspx?id=16563&site=8. For inquiries please contact: Dr. Theresa Rizzi, Interim Department Head, Veterinary Clinical Sciences at 405.744.6769 or theresa.rizzi@okstate.edu.

These are full-time positions with an excellent benefits package, 4 weeks of vacation, start-up funding for research endeavors if desired, and a fully equipped office in the modern Academic Center. Funding support for professional development is provided. The ability to do up to 4 weeks of consultation work outside our referral area is also included.
