Our new associate should be able to jump right into practice, having already worked as a
veterinarian for at least two years. You’ll be a responsible, self-motivated person, who can
take initiative but also can ask for help if it’s needed. Communication is key in a team, so
being positive, open and collaborative is important here.
Requirements are a DVM or equivalent, state licensure in good standing, and ability to obtain
racetrack licenses. A particular interest or specialist qualification in theriogenology would be a
big bonus.
About The Role
We are hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian. This position would be serving clients around
the Capital District and involve seasonal reproduction work. Emergency duties are shared
evenly between doctors, one night a week and one weekend a month on call.
• Base salary from $75,000 commensurate with experience, plus production-based
commission.
• 401(k) retirement plan with 3% employer match and profit sharing.
• Continuing education stipend, two weeks of paid vacation, paid health and professional
liability insurances and membership dues. A practice vehicle is provided.
