Hendersonville Veterinary Hospital is eager to add another veterinarian to our team! We are located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina and have been serving our community for the last 60 years. We have been AAHA accredited since 2001, being recognized for the highest level of veterinary care for over two decades. We provide full-service care for small animal patients in a friendly and relaxed setting. Our current doctors have tremendous skill in surgery, dentistry, diagnostic evaluation, and wellness/preventative care. By the end of 2023, our team will be moving into an entirely new facility! This 5,000 square foot building will include 8 exam rooms and a dual dental suite, just to name a couple of the many new amenities!

Our current hospital contains three exam rooms, one dental suite, one surgical suite, a treatment room, radiology room, kennel area, reception, and laboratory areas. We utilize high end equipment such as CO2 laser, Ellman surgical unit, ultrasound unit, MedRx, digital x-ray/dental x-ray, Heska Element HT5, Element i+, Element DCX machines, Element AIM, and AVImark software daily.

We have a wonderful support staff who we utilize to the fullest. Our skilled CSRs are our first contact to our clients responsible for taking calls, assisting clients, preparing daily charts, entering charges and closing out invoices, filling prescriptions, and working as a liaison between doctors and clients. Our RVTs perform all dental cleanings and assist in any non-surgical and surgical oral procedures. Our Assistants and RVTs assist the doctors in surgical procedures and physical examinations, as well as, collecting samples and performing diagnostics, taking x-rays, and giving injections. We are a well run and tight knit group, excited to invite a new member to our team!

About the area: Hendersonville, NC is a nature lover’s dream. As previously mentioned, we are in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We are not lacking in the arena of beautiful places to hike, bike, and paddle. DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, Chimney Rock State Park, Carl Sandburg Home, and the Biltmore Estate are just a few of the places that are easily accessed and must-see areas. While this is a quieter area with a lot of retirees, there is still plenty of life to experience in the area and in the surrounding counties. We are about a 30-minute drive to Asheville, NC and Brevard NC, and a 45-minute drive to downtown Greenville, SC.
