VCA Abri Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our tenured DVM team in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.

Our practice makes our clients and their pets our top priority. Our management and support team have created a wonderful, warm, friendly, non-toxic, and supportive culture that our practice is very proud of. We value the importance of work-life balance along with offering mentorship and support.  Our patients benefit from advanced technologies including our full in-house laboratory, digital radiography (including dental), telemedicine consultation, and cold laser therapy. We are looking forward to adding an associate veterinarian to our dynamic team.

Our hospital is located a short distance from some of our states most beautiful beaches, the historic town of Cape May, the ever popular Cape May Zoo, as well as a short driving distance to Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Ecotourism has become quite popular in our area over the past several years including bird watching, dolphin and whale watching, Winery and Microbrewery tours, and sea glass collecting along Cape May Point. Our hospital has a friendly, fun, and professional culture. Our support staff are dedicated to our clients, their pets, and supporting our doctors and each other. 

Currently our practice is open Monday – Saturday. Closed on Sundays.  No on-call hours.

Summer and Fall are very busy times in Cape May County.  Many local businesses are supported by tourism in the small surrounding towns. Popular tourist destinations include Stone Harbor, Avalon, Sea Isle City, Cape May, and Wildwood. Each town has its own unique attractions. Stone Harbor and Avalon are known for their beautiful beaches, Cape May is very popular for its historical district, and Wildwood is a fun town with a boardwalk filled with amusement rides and water parks. Cape May County has a wide variety of opportunities. And don’t forget the Cape May Zoo – this is one stop that anyone visiting our area is told is a “must see”.
