Western Veterinary Partners has a RARE opportunity for a DVM to become a founding Medical Director at a new urgent care hospital opening in Seattle, Washington!
This is your chance to have input on practice layout and design, hiring decisions, and more, all while creating a brand-new hospital with the support of an organization who will absorb the financial, recruiting, and operational stresses.
As the founding Medical Director, you’ll focus on:
Building a strong team with excellent practice culture: We've completed demographic surveys and the results show excellent growth in the Seattle area, which will support highly productive DVM salaries and attract talented support staff
Overseeing the hiring of hospital staff: Partner with Western Veterinary Partners to handle the heavy lifting of the recruiting process for veterinarians and support staff.
Positively representing the hospital: We're creating a unicorn practice, that's something to be proud of!
Welcoming and stewarding a highly satisfied client base: You know, you're an experienced veterinarian. Client relationships and excellent medicine are the foundation of a great practice.
Providing quality urgent care services and establishing protocols and hospital workflow
Requirements and qualifications:
Experience with veterinary leadership
Current veterinarian medical director or experienced DVM looking to take the next step
Great medical, surgical, and people skills
