All Creatures Veterinary Clinic is a multi-doctor, companion animal general practice, seeking a Full Time Associate to join our team. We are proud of our team of veterinarians and caring support staff who consider the individual needs of pets and their owners to provide diagnostic and treatment plans tailored to each unique situation. When our patients require veterinary specialists, emergency after-hours care or hospitalization, convenient options are available.
About Us
All Creatures Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1984 by Dr. Joanne Rehn. Dr. Rehn and her team developed a clinic culture of respect and integrity firmly establishing an outstanding reputation with clients and the Alaska veterinary community. Dr. Rehn retired in 2019, and her legacy lives on with the attention to service and quality of care we provide for all our patients.
The All Creatures team works hard to exceed clients' expectations by consistently providing exemplary pet care, thorough communication and education. Throughout the years, All Creatures Veterinary Clinic has mentored numerous new graduates and provided a stimulating breadth and depth of professional opportunities for experienced veterinarians. Our team of veterinarians and technicians stay up-to-date and utilize technology allowing us to provide high-end diagnostic and treatment plans! Our location
All Creatures Veterinary Clinic is in beautiful, Wasilla, Alaska. Wasilla is a bustling town of almost 12,000 that has numerous creeks, lakes, and gorgeous mountain views. Our team members enjoy ready access to hiking, running, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails. We have pristine conditions for Nordic ice skating, back country, and alpine skiing; all in addition to hunting, fishing, and other wildlife that Alaska is so famous for. Wasilla is located approximately one hour from Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, if you ever decide you need a break from Alaska!
Your Role:
Work collaboratively with other veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional care for pets and their owners
Provide preventative medical plans that are appropriate for companion animals in Alaska
Efficiently develop diagnostic and treatment plans for pets and communicate recommendations to clients
Perform soft tissue surgeries and the opportunity to do orthopedic surgery
Partner with clients on best care options for their pet, including referral for specialty care
