Happy Tails Animal Hospital is looking for a Full or Part Time Associate Veterinarian who will focus on high quality patient care and exceptional customer service. We are a recently renovated, rapidly growing, small animal clinical practice. We currentlysee dogs and cats of all ages, shapes and sizes and emphasize preventative health care, and soft tissue surgery and dentistry. If the right candidate has a strong interest and background in pocket pets, birds or exotics, we could support growth in this area.
We utilize full in-house Idexx lab equipment, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, surgical vessel sealer technology, and computerized medical records. We currently offer both routine and non-routine soft tissue surgery options for our patients. Dentistry includes both routine and advanced dentistry (vital pulp therapy, root canals, advanced facial surgeries, jaw fracture repair, etc). Surgical/Dental patients undergo full pre-anesthetic workups, IV catheters placement with supportive fluid therapy, and arecarefully monitored throughout induction, surgery and recovery by our technicians. Every anesthetic patient is monitored with pulse oximetry, EKG, blood pressure (doppler also available), rectal thermometer, and capnograph. The generous support staff is wonderful and well educated, allowing doctors to perform efficiently. There is a minimum technical support staff to doctor ratio of 2.5 on a daily basis. We work as a team to offer our patients exceptional medical and surgical care, and have fun while doing so.
Our fantastic client base is willing to provide the best care for their pets. Therefore, we have excellent relationships with several area specialty/referral practices (all within a short drive from us). All after hours emergencies are referred to the local 24 hour ER facility (approximately 10 minutes away). There is no after-hour emergency work or on-call time. We understand the value of a healthy work-life balance as this allows us to rejuvenate and perform at our best for our patients.
