Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• A character of integrity who is hard working, dependable, compassionate, a team player, teachable and able to teach others.

Duties:

• Delivering complete and up-to-date veterinary care and best medicine practice
• Care and clear communication with clients
• Partnering with clients, including both recommending and explaining medical care in the exam room and over the phone
• Partnering with staff, including clear communication, mutual respect, and an atmosphere of cohesion
• Accurately developing patient records, including SOAP records, and maintaining client/doctor communication notes
• Clearly prescribing detailed directions regarding drug name, patient name, dose, route, administration frequency and patient monitoring instructions

• On-call one out of every three weeks for evenings and weekends (large animal only)
• Hours of Operation: M-F 7:30am – 5:30pm
