Prince Frederick Animal Hospital (PFAH) is an independently owned, large, well equipped, small animal practice in the heart of beautiful Calvert County Maryland, which lies along the Chesapeake Bay just one hour south of Washington, DC. The hospital was established in 1981, and over the years has developed strong partnerships with the community. We are provider of choice for our new county animal shelter, as well as multiple other local rescue groups. The PFAH family consists of six veterinarians and more than 30 dedicated support staff.
