We are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team! We are a three-veterinarian, comprehensive care practice located in the quaint sandhills of North Carolina. Our hospital focuses on excellent quality of care tailored to each individual pet and his or her human family. As we are in a small, supportive community, we have a good relationship with our clients. We enjoy helping our community with outreach in our schools and with assisting local groups in their efforts to provide low-cost services. We emphasize the importance of communication and are always looking for ways to enhance the experience we provide our clients and patients. Our staff is like a family, and we are looking to add one more!
We offer our patients a plethora of diagnostics, including: good physical examinations, full in-house IDEXX bloodwork and urinalysis capabilities, heartworm, FELV/FIV, parvo, cpli, and progesterone testing, digital radiographs, ultrasound, and our new, 2-hour turnaround digital cytology analyzer. Some of the services we offer include: general surgery, surgical laser, day hospitalization with the option to transfer to our local emergency clinic for overnight care, dental care, and therapeutic Companion laser.
We offer our wonderful staff: competitive pay, assistance toward a clinic insurance package (including vision and dental), employee discounts for pets, holiday paid time off, paid birthday off, paid CE and AVMA dues, NC licensing fees, liability insurance and consideration for educational opportunities specific to each employee’s interests and skills. We like to work hard and enjoy our patients and our camaraderie with each other, while also respecting our staff’s needs for a healthy outside-of-work life.
Persons with any level of experience are welcome to apply, with preference given to those with at least one year of involvement in clinical veterinary practice. Surgical and dental care experience a bonus, but we are also open to training the right individual. Pay is based on skill level and experience, with regular reviews to facilitate deserved advancement. We are also open to investing in our associate veterinarians’ unique career interests (acupuncture, physical therapy, ultrasound, etc).
Please send us a message if you would like to come meet our wonderful staff family, clients and patients! We would love to meet you!
