This large, current two-doctor clinic is privately owned by a local veterinarian and our philosophy has always been that if we practice good medicine, and treat our people and our clients well, we will be successful. We keep our fees as reasonable as we can, which allows our staff to feel good about what we do. Despite having exponential growth over the past three years; the hospital still has a family feel and our people know that we care about them. We are adamant on preserving a work/life balance as we are in providing great veterinary medicine. A 4-day work week with occasional Saturday/weekend and limited on call hours. Our Doctors rotate on call and phones turn over at 10pm each night; with ability to make extra income for any calls accepted.

We are always looking for new advances in veterinary techniques and surgery and are open to integrative medicine. Our staff is friendly and experienced. With combined 20+ years of experience; our doctors; have a strong desire to teach and provide appropriate mentoring which is typically lost at large corporations. There will always be someone available to consult with.
Our Facility is a well-equipped 2-story up to date hospital with a brand-new state of the art boarding facility. We have a paperless computer system, a new in-house Abaxis laboratory, portable ultrasound, digital radiography, laser therapy, thermal imaging, rolling gurneys and hydraulic lift treatment table. We also have a full handicap elevator that can be used for large or disabled patients. Our large Surgery Suite is equipped with excellent surgical lighting, central O2, Hot Dog heating unit, pulse oximetry, EKG, blood pressure monitoring, temperature monitoring and Isoflurane anesthesia. We have a brand-new, private dental suite with water table, hydraulic lift, as well as, a new Midmark dental unit with suction, central 02 and oxygen concentrator.

Our Home: Our animal hospital is in the City of Norwich, NY, in Chenango County or Central NY. Cornell University Veterinary is only 1.5 hours away with Syracuse and Binghamton being about 1 hour away. Also located only 30 minutes from Colgate College and SUNY Morrisville Ag & Tech. So, city lifestyle benefits are a short drive when desired. We have 2 ski areas within 50 minutes along with cross-country ski trails. Norwich is a small friendly community with a country feel that has lots to offer for the outdoor enthusiast such as hiking, hunting/fishing, kayaking/canoeing, hobby farming and camping nearby. There is also an active artist community, music in the parks, museums, festivals and farmers markets! This area has plenty to offer!
