Oceana Veterinary Clinic and White Lake Animal Clinic, privately owned small practices, recently joined teams and are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian (part-time for the right candidate) to help continue to grow our busy, multi-doctor practice located in West Michigan (New Era/Montague). We enjoy the small-town amenities of a tourist area but are close enough to the attractions offered in a larger city.
We are a family friendly and community minded team that values personal 360-degree growth. We have a helpful and experienced support staff offering a 1:5 doctor to staff ratio which allows our doctors and staff to pursue progressive medicine/surgery/dentistry with preventive medicine as a foundation. We offer digital radiography, ultrasound, digital dental radiography, full in-house Idexx laboratory, therapy laser as well as surgical laser. Several team members are Fear Free certified, and philosophies are adopted by the entire team. Communication is the cornerstone of our clinic, so comprehensive medical and surgical knowledge as well as the ability to educate clients is highly valued.
Full-time veterinarians are scheduled four days a week (~36 hour/week) with monthly rotating 1/2-day Saturdays and no after-hours emergency services, allowing for a good work-life balance. Full-time associates would receive paid time off, paid holidays, IRA contributions, health insurance, generous CE allowance, dues and license renewal, pet benefits, and uniform allowance.
