Animal Emergency Clinic of the High Country in Boone, NC is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our team. Our ER work is both challenging and rewarding. Due to the nature of the cases we see, we have developed a tight knit and highly efficient team led by five doctors. Most cases are managed in-house, but we also refer cases to tertiary care facilities. We have a full in-house IDEXX suite of lab equipment, surgical ventilator, cautery, video endoscopy, digital radiography, referral quality ultrasound and in-house blood bank. There is ready access to an ultrasound/echocardiography specialist, and we have an ophthalmologist that visits twice monthly.  We are in the process of being credentialed as a Level II Triage Center through the Emergency & C
