The Seeing Eye, Inc., North America’s pioneer guide dog school, is dedicated to helping people achieve greater independence, dignity, and self-confidence through the use of Seeing Eye dogs. Renowned for its rich tradition of excellence, the organization presently has an opportunity available for an associate veterinarian at its scenic headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey.

We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent clinical, surgical, and communication skills to work in a state of the art, AAHA accredited facility. We have a highly skilled support staff and work in a collaborative team environment. This is a unique opportunity to practice the highest quality veterinary medicine in a "mission driven" setting.

Areas of emphasis include ophthalmology, pediatrics and reproduction. Practice includes working closely with the departments of Canine Development and Instruction & Training as well as local veterinarians, veterinary researchers and specialists at a number of veterinary schools and specialty facilities.

Equipment includes ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, endoscopes, indirect ophthalmoscopes, slit lamps, digital retinal cameras, anesthetic monitoring devices including capnography, and IV infusion pumps.

Candidates must have a N.J. veterinary license or be eligible to sit for the next N.J. licensing exam. Valid driver’s license required.
