We’re looking for an attitude…
A fun loving, positive and kind demeanor. Someone who finds fulfillment in supporting their team as much as making a difference in animal’s lives. An individual who seeks to be a well-rounded, collaborative DVM. Always up to learn new things and teach others with the same invigorated, can-do spirit.
An individual who wants to be challenged, yet proficient in seeing a variety of cases daily. Cases ranging from companion animal emergency to large animal ambulatory wellness and even your fair share of small mammals, reptiles or zoo species.
Private practice team of 6 recent graduate DVMs (1TAMU, 1OVC, 2OSU, 1Rossi, 1UofI), south of Houston and just minutes to the beach. A medium sized, safe and family friendly community where you can run on the beach, dream under the majestic oaks, or explore the waterways.
Salary of $95-150K reflective of experience, desired schedule and responsibilities. Additional 1in6, equally shared, on-call compensation at 50% of services. A 4-4.5 day work week, set day off weekly, alternating weekends and regular 3 day weekends. 30-minute appts, $3000++ CE, paid parental leave, on-site pet day care, relocation, etc.
Advanced training in surgery, dentistry, emergency/CC and exotics. Focus on standard of care medicine and practices; multi-modal pain control, ETCO2, dental rads, EBVM.
Our work culture of camaraderie, trust and doing what’s right, supersedes all else.
State of Texas Licensure or ability to immediately obtain one, graduate of AVMA accredited CVM, USDA Level II Accreditation eligible, DEA licensure.
Previous candidates tell us they love our culture, collaborative team approach, focus on mentorship and passion to serve our community; with high quality, compassionate veterinary care.
