We are a 2-doctor practice, looking to grow our team! Whether you are an experienced DVM or New Graduate, we will immerse you in our wonderful world of exceptional patient care and collaborative environment! We see a wide variety of cases, including exotics and have a niche interest in advanced diagnostics and client education. We are located just 25 miles west of Virginia Beach in the heart of Chesapeake Virginia. Dr. Sam has been a long standing member of the community and has continued his father's legacy through the Highlands family practice. Dr. Jeff is a well revered DVM from New York who brings his expertise in Internal Medicine.
We welcome the opportunity to mentor any new graduate interested in gaining valuable skills with surgical laser, ultrasound, dentistry and exotic husbandry. We encourage experienced DVMs to bring any additional skills and services they practice as we always look forward to offering the best to our clients.
