Avenue Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are a busy 3 doctor, independently owned, AAHA Accredited hospital, located 15 miles east of Nashville, TN.  Experienced veterinarians and new graduates considered.  We enjoy providing mentorship to new graduated so they can quickly become a confident member of our team.

Our focus is providing top notch services to our clients through gold standard veterinary options and clear communication, while emphasizing low stress handling of our patients and creating an inviting environment for everyone.

While ensuring client satisfaction is a priority, we also support and lift up our team by taking work-life balance into account. We encourage a team approach and encourage collaboration/ support.  A positive work culture is a focus! Having multiple doctors on staff also allows us to be flexible with time off requests. We refer to local emergency hospitals for after hours services, so we do not require after-hours work or on-call hours.

Associate Veterinarian Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Tennessee State Veterinarian license in good standing.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Works well with hospital team members
• Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth

A successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine with a genuine compassion for pets and clients.
