Austin-Kyle Animal Hospital www.kylevet.com, (south Austin area), has a position open for a full time small animal veterinarian. At least 3 years’ experience preferred but will consider all applicants. No after-hours work and no weekend hours are required. With a flexible, 34-38 hour work week (4 day) there is plenty of time off to explore the night life of Austin, riverwalk of San Antonio, hang out tubing on the river or to partake of the myriad of outdoor activities the area offers. Kyle is conveniently situated between Austin and San Marcos. It is a bedroom suburb of Austin, offering job opportunity/family commuting to both Austin and San Antonio.
Very experienced, continually trained (required CE for technicians and receptionists) and competent technical staff paired with well-equipped practice gives great opportunity to practice high quality medicine. Modern, free-standing building built in 2002 just had a renovation and expansion and offers dedicated officing space. Fully computerized practice with Cornerstone practice management software and electronic medical records. Pricing, client base, support staff, scheduling (dedicated surgery/procedure days) and management structure allow opportunity for high income commensurate with experience, production ability and/or special interests. As one of the largest independent, non-corporate practices in the state we offer a very competitive and flexible package, base + percentage, group health/dental/vision insurance access, CE, VIN membership, vacation, uniforms, retirement matching.
Guaranteed starting package for experienced vets of minimum $140-$160,000 annually + commensurate with experience, with higher earning potential based on production (package 22-25% + of production, depending on experience and production ability) and buy in potential if interested. New grads considered at lower caseload and initial mentorship program. Corporate "Signing bonuses" are simply long term loans with strings.
