Adobe Animal Hospital has been proudly serving our community since 1964. Adobe is a special place for many Bay Area pet parents – we run two hospitals in Los Altos and Los Gatos that offer top quality medical care for small animals and exotic species.
Our South Bay location in Los Gatos is very fast paced! We have a small vet feel with the top-quality medicine you expect from Adobe. Adobe South Bay is open 6 days a week and sees a mix of scheduled appointments like wellness and general practice visits as well elective soft tissue surgeries. Work with a close-knit team of 5 doctors and an amazing team of techs and assistants.
Our hospitals have an Open Hospital policy which allows pet parents to move through the hospital with their pets. This is a unique experience that helps our patients and clients feel more comfortable and supported, and it enriches the practice of our incredible clinical teams. Support and encouragement – as well as mentorship and collaboration – are the cornerstones at Adobe.
Experience Requirement: Experienced general practitioners and recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
Who are you?
A flexible, hands-on Veterinarian with great communication, a solid basic skill set and an interest in professional growth and creating relationships with pet parents. There are opportunities to train in Surgery, Ultrasound, Dentistry and Exotics for those who are interested.

Some of our values in action:
Collaboration: With multiple doctors and a range of special interests, you’ll have the opportunity to share knowledge with a brilliant and diverse community of doctors. New grads will especially see this in our structured and personalized mentorship programs.
Sustainability: Work with an amazing team of technicians and assistants on major cases! If you love to teach, our teams love to learn!
Compassion: Our work is about caring for living creatures, no matter how many legs they use. We place compassion first for our patients and their people.
Innovation: Top technology and top skills - we are about pushing the envelope to serve our community. Including telemedicine and chat so our clients can get great care from home! And if you enjoy client education, consider hosting a seminar on a topic of your choice. We will help make it happen!
