Available for students currently enrolled in veterinary school. As an Extern, you are paired with a doctor or member of our staff and rotate through each department of the practice. Every week you are scheduled 40-hours and rotate through weekends, day and evening hours. Housing is available above our new Wellness Center located within walking distance to the practice. Outpatient Medicine is focused around daily appointments. Each doctor is scheduled for 30-minute appointments and rotated as an Urgent Care DVM. Internal Medicine is an in-house service offered to enhance patient care. Dr. Dave Burgener, DACVIM, specializes in internal medicine, cardiology and oncology.
