Fredon Animal Hospital provides medical, surgical and dental care to companion animals. Exotics and orthopedics can be incorporated based on the interest of the applicant. We have digital radiology with AI algorithms and telemedicine support. We have in house ultrasound with board certified review. A full in house lab, dental radiology, tonometry, ECG, blood pressure machines, cryotherapy and an electrosurgical unit provide the whistles and bells you need to provide thorough medical workups. Our most valuable asset is our experienced staff, most of whom have been with us for over a decade.
Fredon Animal Hospital is a privately owned practice operating independently of corporate influence or oversight. A full time associate averages 35-37 hours a week with no after hours or on call responsibilities. Four day weeks with rotating half day Saturdays provide plenty of free time. For experienced veterinarians we offer a salary that is generous and consistent with your level of experience. New graduates will start at $100,000. Health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid CE and CE days, IRA and at cost services for your pets are included in our compensation package. We are currently offering a sign on bonus and relocation expenses. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The practice owner enjoys mentoring young veterinary professionals and transferring knowledge gained over 25 years in practice. Applicants should be capable in medical and dental procedures; should be adept at wellness and preventative medicine including comfort with behavioral advice, nutrition recommendations, senior care and end of life guidance; possesses exceptional communication skills that empower the client to be an informed part of their pet's medical care and has the ability to coordinate and implement diagnostic workups that are consistent with best practice, suitable to the patient's needs and meet the expectations of a clientele comprising all levels of the financial spectrum.
