Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic’s Externship program is focused on educating young veterinarians on the many facets of equine medicine while allowing an inside view as to what our internship program has to offer.  Our externs should expect to rotate through our several services including sports medicine, ambulatory, surgery/hospitalized patient care, and reproduction.  Our goal is to transition our externs from observation to hands-on participation whenever possible.  SVEC is a four-doctor equine exclusive practice based out of Saginaw, Michigan.  We currently have four full time veterinarians, with various areas of specialty.
