A well-established animal hospital and boarding/grooming facility is seeking to hire a full-time associate veterinarian to replace a doctor who is, sadly, relocating. Years of experience are not necessary, because we're looking for someone who is eager to learn, and who wants to join our hospital team.
Our facility keeps up with the latest technology in veterinary medicine, and is equipped with an electronic records system, a digital radiography machine, endoscope, tonopen, therapeutic laser unit, new color ultrasound machine and state of the art dental equipment.
In order to be able to offer our clients the best in alternative treatments, we also have a certified acupuncturist.
We foster a fun, friendly work environment, in which the staff members of all departments work together well and treat each other with respect. Our staff members truly care about the pets they treat. We take an active roll in our community's events and provide charitable care for our federal and law enforcement K9s in retirement.
Our practice is fortunate to have a loyal clientele willing to pursue complete work-ups, and the support of nearby specialist.
An extremely competitive salary plus commission (1st year grads avg. over 120K), vacation & sick time, 401K, licensing and dues paid, generous and flexible CE allowance, medical and pet hotel discounts, uniform allowance, as well as life and disability insurance are benefits offered to our associates.
Our facility is open 12-hour days on weekdays, and open 8 to 4 on Saturdays, and our medical floor is closed to the public on Sundays. If you think you are a good match for our clinic, please submit cover letter, work references and resume via email.
Additional Salary Information: A first year grad is averaging over 120K
