Covered Bridge Equine was established in September, 2002 and has a wonderful support staff including office coworkers and technicians. We are located just 15 minutes from the University of Georgia Veterinary Teaching Hospital and we refer cases there on a routine basis.
Our practice area has an active fox hunting and eventing sport horse population. We also see dressage horses, hunter/jumpers, Western performance horses and pleasure horses. Recently we have seen an increase in miniature horses and miniature donkey populations as well! We enjoy relatively mild winters with classic south-eastern summers. The North Georgia mountains are only a couple of hours away and the Atlantic ocean is about 4 hours away. Our doctors enjoy different hobbies when not working such as trail riding, team roping, running, hiking, and kayaking. Time with family is also a priority and we schedule appointments with this in mind.
