Manistee Veterinary Hospital, located along the shoreline of Northwest Michigan, is seeking to hire a third small animal veterinarian, new graduates will also be considered, to be a part of our quirky, fun work family. We are open Monday through Friday. A suitable candidate for this position must be an efficient worker, have good communication skills, can easily explain the medical jargon to clients, gives the clients guidance in making medical decisions, and does all this while working within the client’s financial means. We have plenty of support staff to help with the efficiency of appointments. General work duties include surgery and exams for wellness and sick visits. Surgery duty is not mandatory, if that is your preference. After hour emergencies are referred to a 24 hour emergency hospital.
